Establishing your own internet marketing E-commerce niche marketing site is not like what it used to be. There are thousands of competition that are all too willing to get a bigger share of the pie. Every scheme and method you can find to augment your sales would be very beneficial and a key part to this is found in niche marketing.

We have got to admit to ourselves, most of us are in this internet marketing game for the money and a key component to internet marketing is ensuring your product or service follows disciplined niche marketing principles. We are not going in this to waste our time and effort just for the fun of it. Many websites would not wait until hell freezes over just to see their profits. While there are some who takes things lightly there are always those who would rather see profit any given day and that means website traffic.

It is common knowledge that without website traffic we have no internet marketing business. Like any business, without any customers you don't get sales. Website traffic represents all the people that gets a chance to see what you have to offer. The more people who see your products the more people there will be to buy them.

Nobody ever puts up an internet marketing E-commerce site that doesn't expect profit. As in any business there is a startup capital costs that needs to be regained. With consistent website traffic, we at least have a fighting chance to achieve that probability. Monetizing your website traffic and the skillful use of niche marketing will optimize your chances of making the best out of it.

Making Money out of your website traffic:
The best and most proven method of making a profit out of your traffic is using advertising in the appropriate marketing niche. The internet generates hundreds of thousands upon hundred of thousands of website traffic everyday. Most of the users are searching for something. While some are just looking for information there is also a good percentage that are internet marketing people looking for something that they need to buy in a particular marketing niche, this is why niche marketing is so critical with your internet marketing business.

The internet has proven to be a very reliable source in finding what was deemed to be a very unsearchable product because all product fall into a particular marketing niche. The internet has made the world a smaller place; you can advertise a product from the depths of Istanbul and still find a buyer from the center of Philadelphia providing you have website traffic.

Generating website traffic is not an easy task. You have to contend with a great number of sites to generate a good number of traffic flow. But if done successfully in the correct marketing niche this could open up a Pandora's Box of possibilities. One of the benefits is monetizing your website traffic flow and using niche marketing as part of your business strategy.

So, to get to the core of it with niche marketing the more traffic you generate the more likely you are considered as a desirable, desirable, in a sense that a good traffic flowing site is easily convertible to profit. Basically traffic equals profit. Advertising is the name of the game; with the good advertising scheme you can use your traffic flow to your advantage.

When you have good traffic you have a good number of potential customers, customers that are willing to pour money into your coffers because you will have found them through using niche marketing in your strategy. Other than that these are also traffic that can be redirected to sponsored links that are willing to pay you for a sizeable portion of the traffic that you have generated.

This scheme is called "pay-per-click". With every click a visitor of your site makes on an advertised link you will be paid. The more traffic you generate and the more clicks that happens would spell to more profits. This is a great way to enhance your business as you make sure that the results of your niche marketing analysis is used in your advertising.

Affiliate Programs:
Another method of monetizing your website traffic whilst using niche marketing is to use affiliate programs. You can link up with other tried and tested sites and online companies and monetize your traffic by having a percentage of sales generated by traffic coming from your site.

The basic idea is, use niche marketing effectively in your internet marketing strategies and then traffic generated from your site will go to another site that can offer a product that you do not carry. Many programs can keep track and make records of transactions that was made possible because of site linkage.

When purchases are made by customers that was led by your site to their site you get a percentage of that sale. Affiliate programs would give you the benefit of monetizing your traffic without the actual need of carrying or promoting a certain product.

There are so many ways and methods to monetize your traffic, to do this effectively the use of niche marketing is critical. All it takes is a bit of hard work, using niche marketing and the desire to successfully launch a profit-earning website. The internet is a veritable source of information, many tips and guides are offered everywhere in how to monetize your traffic and make your site a good profit earner.

One of the distractions to customer loyalty is the availability of alternative places to buy the same products or services at the same or even slightly higher prices. With an internet business, thousands of other similar companies offer the same items at about the same price and without the loyalty of your customers there is no way to survive.

Web surfers may simply type in a keyword for a product or service in a search engine and when the different sites appear, clicking on a few sites will usually give them an idea of the price range of products. They can then choose what they see as the lowest cost for the same merchandise and make a purchase with little regard to the company from which they are buying. It will typically take a bad experience during some part of the transaction for them to become discouraged, making it important that every e commerce business has their best foot forward on each transaction to build customer loyalty to their site.

There are so many others to choose from, customers have the luxury of picking and choosing with whom they do business and they will choose the company that offers the best service or the best product at the best price. With internet commerce it is not possible for a business to get to know their competition as they can in a brick and mortar world. They can see the products as well as the prices but the hidden assets of service and delivery can only be seen if business is actually conducted.

It would be good for every online business owner to make a purchase from their own site occasionally to determine their ordering and delivery system is working correctly. If a customer has a problem making a purchase, they will not be back to waste their time. If the information provided on the merchandise is inadequate, they will not be making a purchase. If the shipping cost is excessive or the time they have to wait for delivery, again they will not be making a purchase.

Knowing what it will take to drive customers away is how a company can begin to build customer loyalty. You know what turns them away and fixing those issues on your ecommerce site will keep them coming back. Additionally, the best and cheapest methods of advertising on the internet is word of mouth. Making a customer happy that they did business with you can provide their recommendation to friends and relatives, giving you more business that costs nothing to obtain.

By focusing on the customers experience with your online business, their satisfaction can lead to their loyalty which is one of the most important aspect of doing business online.

Those looking to get into their own business without the need to beg a bank for funding, can find several e-commerce businesses that you get started for very little money up front. Franchising has worked for many traditional stores and the concept is continuing to gain acceptance in the online world as more successful businesses are seeking more outlets for their products or service.

In the beginning of the online franchising frenzy, it was termed multi level marketing and the effect of some not so honest individuals made MLM seem like a bad word, often turning people away from the concept. However, joining a franchise with a reputable company can offer many people the opportunity to own their own e-commerce business without the need to take out a loan to get started.

Typically, many sites offer a buy in of less than $100, although there are some costing considerably more and what is included in the franchise price will determine the initial, as well as future cost of the business. Whether you are looking to sell products or services, the trick is finding one that offers the best return on your investment. Usually, the company will establish a website with your name on it and any sales that come through the site earn the owner a commission on the total sales.

There are companies that offer a complete store front, offering numerous products for sale, allowing the site owner to set their own prices. They tell you what your price is for the product and you can establish your own mark up and display the higher price on your site. When a customer makes a purchase, you receive the difference as your commission. This type of site gives you more control over your financial future and allows you the freedom to market it in the best way for you.

The bottom line in e-commerce business is a workable marketing plan. With a traditional franchise, local advertising would bring people to your store. There was usually only one in a specified area and interested potential customers would visit that one outlet. With e-commerce, the customers are coming from a global arena and you will need a marketing campaign that brings them to your specific site.

This can be done through different marketing methods, including online and offline and help drive sales to your site. By offering others the opportunity to join in your business, franchise often allows you to earn money on their sales as well as your own and these new franchisees under your name can help produce your income stream and help in marketing all sites associated with the same business.

The big advantage to these franchises is the low cost required to get started. Once you start making money you can spend more on marketing and advertising and realize a bigger return on your investment as your income constantly improves.

So you want to make a business out of eBay? Maybe you want to make the move from casual 'clear-the-attic' selling to a focused business approach? If that's the case, the following four pointers should help you achieve just that.

1. Decide what you are going to sell. This may seem obvious but it's a massive pitfall for the unwary. It' is so easy to become sidetracked and lose focus of what you decided to sell in the first place!

Say you have decided to sell animal figurines. Say - it might be a good idea to do those cute Disney figures too! And why not have a look at those Royal Worcester vases while you're at it? Take this road and pretty soon you will end up as a general retailer of ceramics and porcelain. Any idea how much stock you'll need for that?

So point one is: stick to your chosen niche. Do this, be ruthless and single-minded about it. Heck, you're a beginner, not Wal-Mart!

2. Keep a tight control on profits. Now, this might seem self-evident but never, ever forget those 'hidden' costs that erode your margin. These include eBay and PayPal charges, postal charges, packing costs and (if any) the cost of borrowing.

Also, if you are selling a line that consistently gives low returns at your auctions - drop it. You may be selling carloads of this particular line but remember the old saying - 'turnover is vanity, profit is sanity'. What does this mean?

Simply, it means that you should avoid the temptation to keep a line selling merely to boost your turnover. It's no good turning over a million dollars if you have to sell a million items to do it with a profit of five cents an item! Although this may well give you a 'profit' of $50,000 this would be gulped down by those charges above. Much better to turn over $100,000 with a thousand items at $100 each on a margin of 40% - that's $40 per item! Less work and more money in real terms!

3. Adopt a professional attitude. What does that mean? Well, it means that you should be consistent in everything you do - all your listing should have the same template, similar items should be described in the same way, descriptions should be as accurate and as full as possible - and honest! - and, perhaps above all, photos should be clear, well-lit and in focus.

These factors will set you head and shoulders above a huge proportion of the competition. I cannot stress enough that by following the simple rules above your sales will improve overnight. Buyers are people and people are creatures of habit. They will soon come to recognise your unique way of presenting your goods and, providing that you take care of them, these same customers will return time and time again.

4. Don't give up! This may seem obvious but you would be amazed at the number of would-be eBay moguls that give up at the first sign of a bad week. I have news for you - unless you are very, very, VERY lucky you will not make a full-time business out of eBay overnight. You may never make a full-time business out of it - ever. One thing is certain, though - give up on it and you cannot possibly make anything out of it!

The secret to eBay success is simply to keep at it! Sure, you must monitor your sales items, your profits and also present a businesslike face to the world - but you must also have the determination to go into this thing for the long haul. Sure, the internet is full of schemes that promise you overnight riches but I'll ask you this: do you know anyone, or know anyone who knows anyone - really - that has come good off these schemes? No?

eBay is truly one of the few businesses now in operation that presents a totally level playing field to the newcomer. It costs you exactly the same to list and sell item 'A' as it costs a 20,000+ feedback powerseller to list it. So remember - choose your market, control your profits, be professional and NEVER GIVE UP!

An experienced webmaster knows how to use title and meta tags appropriately, and even may know enough about search engines to know he needs to include keywords in those tags. Once that is accomplished, however, what else can be done to the page to optimize for select keywords?

The header tags are considered some of the most important tags on the page, so be sure to use them. Instead of using a font code to boost the size of text on a line, use the H1, H2, and H3 tags where you can. Including your keywords in the header tags makes your site match as more relevant in the search engines. There are header tags all the way down to H6, but rarely are they used. The most common are the H1, H2, and H3 tags and those will really be enough.

Where you place your text can make a big difference. If you format your page using tables and you keep your text to the left, the keywords in that text appear lower down on the page and therefore not as relevant. By formatting your text to be on the left side, your keywords appear closer to the top of the HTML document and therefore more relevant. This difference is subtle, but may be just the edge you need to outrank your competition.

It's important to spread the keywords throughout the entire page. They should appear at the beginning of the page, the middle, and the bottom. That means don't put all your eggs in one basket, or only include the keywords at the beginning of your article. This is easy to do when you have lots of content to work with, but a bit more challenging when you have little text because you want the text to be well written stuff for humans to read. Find a balance with including the keyword often to attract the attention of the search engine spiders without attracting too much attention from humans.

The navigation through the pages on your site is also extremely important. Perhaps you thought that including a list of link to all the pages of the site was for your convenience? It's for that too, but it's also so that the search engine spiders find all the other pages of the site. The text that appears in these links should be the keywords you want that page to rank for because that's the best way to help a page rank well.

A little known trick you can use to throw in some more keywords without humans seeing anything is the title tags of links. This is simply accomplished by inserting the word "title=", followed by your keywords and enclosed with quotation marks, inside the "A" tag. Your visitors won't see those keywords but the search engine spiders will.

The whole purpose of working on your pages should be to make your content relevant to what people are looking for and ensuring that the search engines know it too. By understanding a little bit of how the language and code works, you'll be able to accomplish that much more easily than if you tried loading your meta tags with keywords. Make your sites friendly to search engines and human visitors and you will see incredible returns on your efforts.

Well let's say that you have found something everyone is talking about or all the kids are pestering their parents for. Great! Now how do you get hold of it to sell? Well, that's one of the biggest challenges you will face when building your online business, but if you think that trawling thorough masses of online offers is the only way then you may be surprised.

Below are a few very simple ways to track down manufacturers details, It's actually easier than you think, the most important thing to remember is that you just need a few pieces of info to get your search started, a name or website address is often all you need to track down the full details. Here are some unconventional methods that you can try out today.

Method 1
Lets say there is a high street fashion label that you really like and would love to sell online, they sell it in your town but you have no idea where it comes from, the first way is simple.. Ask! It sounds daft but quite often if you ask the girl at the counter or get friendly with someone in the shop they may just tell you, most of the time the owner of the shop doesn't work there all the time if at all so if you ask the Saturday girl she's not bothered if you know, if you asked, "do you know the name of the company on the invoices that you get for these clothes?" You will be surprised how many people will tell you if they have the info to hand, if they are the only one in the shop and they have to go out the back to look it up the chances are slim but it's definitely worth asking, they can only say no!

Method 2
Keep an eye open for when they get their stock arrivals, usually a truck will pull up out the front first thing in the morning to bring in the stock. This is a good time to take a wonder past! It's not unusual for the driver to leave a trolley of boxes on the pavement (sidewalk) for a while, if you can get close enough just glance over the label on the boxes as you walk by and look for the suppliers name or website address, anything you can use to look them up, maybe if the driver is friendly he may tell you the supplier as he may deliver exclusively for them. You only have to ask! Both these methods I have personally used when tracking down specific brands and they do work! It takes a bit of confidence and a little cheekiness but it could make a real difference to your business.

Method 3
Check the retail box, if it's a product that comes boxed then you can find allot of details from the packaging. Unless the store has re-branded the item you will be able to find details like, manufacturers name, website, postal address etc usually in small print on the back. If you can make a note of the manufacturers name and website you can then go home and Google the info.

Once you find their website they will usually have a section listing the suppliers they use for their products, failing that you can email them and ask, they will be happy to tell you who their appointed supplier is for your area. I do this quite a lot in my research and I have found countless suppliers details and even been offered exclusive supply deals from manufactures in the past just by looking at the packaging and taking it from there. Just remember to be confident and professional and if you don't ask you won't find out!

Why not try it out this week as an exercise on something you would like to sell.

See how much info you can digg up.

Just like the offline world, one should never confuse marketing for sales. Online, the disparity between the two is quickly brought to notice when stats in the log-file show numerous visits with no sales made. This is why it is prudent to first streamline your conversions techniques in increasing web revenues. Conversion happens as a result of synergy amassed from sales and marketing.

Marketing involves exposing potential customers to numerous messages about your offer. Online this may be done using Search Engines, syndicated articles, Pay per Click (PPC) Ads etc. The messages have the express intention to create the inclination to visit your website and propensity to take up your offer.

Essentially marketing should warm up your prospects and make them more receptive to a sales pitch. However propensity to buy is not buying. Indeed all marketing is able to do is create room for sales conversion.

On the other hand, attempting to convert your visitors without doing your due diligence can frustrate even the best conversion strategies. This is probably the reason for the meager C.R online. Cold leads are very hard to sell. Coupled with the fact that few visitors ever return to a website, you could as well have only one shot to convert your visitors into customers.

The fact that sales online have significantly different dynamics to off-line sales, introduces a learning curve even to expert salesmen and copy-writers. This is without mentioning that conversion whether online or off, is in itself a complex process. These not withstanding, proven principles have been identified that always work. These fundamentals do not change regardless of medium in use.

When a warm lead arrives on your sales page they want to be sold, or should we say convinced? This may sound untrue because what we commonly know as selling are pushy and forceful insurance salesmen and network marketers. But what they do is not selling, it is, well, pushing and forcing.

In contrast selling is an art and science of persuasion that involves matching customer need to product features. It further involves guiding the prospect to take action now.

Consequently the basics of online conversion depend on a purposeful and well structured process of prospecting, creating awareness and propensity to buy - marketing. It is then followed by a systematic persuasion that attends to both the emotive and logical needs of the customer with the express intent of matching product or service to customer needs and wants - sales.

A seamless process of marketing and selling forms the foundation of an optimal conversion rate (C.R).Trying to sell your visitor without marketing to them will always result to a lower conversion rate.

The first rule of online business development to remember when you are searching for a business idea is to pick the one that works personally for you. Even if you already have a business and are considering adding an online presence to it.

Your personal niche picture based on your own life experience and training. Often times the best small business development idea you can come up with is one that you will have fun doing. That is personal and clearly you.

Where we get a bit confused sometimes is when a home business opportunity comes up that we do not like but we know we have the skills to make it work so, the question arises, do we need the money or the fun more? If we really know we are good at it and can help others with it maybe we can find the passion in it.

Maybe in the marketing of it or in the building of our business development center site of it. Or perhaps in helping others to do better at something. Then taking joy in it.

People will soon be beating an electronic pulse path to your small business development center. You are now capable of bringing home the bacon. You use your personal voice passion and skill to make something in the world available and useful to others.

Another example, and this is important, is some of us have good inter net and computer tech skills and some of us do not. If you are either one you need to find someone else who has the opposite skills to complement yours and complete the puzzle. Then you are ready to move on.

Or you need a darned good host who will provide you with tools and aid that will allow you to be yourself and build a high ranking web site whether you have html or programming skills or not. You as a founder of an enterprise who has enthusiasm, passion and motivation as well as your own personal brain aka being yourself will often help a business thrive and survive far beyond other companies in the same field.

You want to learn how the content, traffic, pre sell and monetizing combination works. Learn this from a great host team and your chances of success increase dramatically. Be business like but learn how to harness your personal voice and happiness quotient at the same time.

In addition, modern technology and the Internet has made it possible and easy for almost anybody to thrive with a small business web site development plan that is professional and works. As long as you love your idea and you understand it then you will have a thriving business. Sometimes you will find you are a good natural leader of a specific business but are not good at it.

That is where the web host with a well developed forum group comes in. If they are really good they will have a rocking socking team of forum leaders with lots of learned and natural skills to help you out.

This is usually found in their affiliate group and goes deeper in their web site forums with highly qualified business development strategy. This is based on years of being in business and thousands of questions that will of already been answered. You can tap into this rich library of knowledge when you build your affiliate program and business development strategy.

This means you pick people to work with you who are good at the different technology business development parts of the business and are good marketers or leaders. This is so they will naturally work with you to help them and you succeed.

This is like a lock and key. You both need each other to do a function but are of no value by yourselves. Got it? Good. Let us move on.

The second rule you should remember when selecting the best business development plan is if there is a good marketing system in place. My experience is that the content, traffic, pre sell and monetize formula will work best for you.

You need to have a business plan development laid out by your host that is light years ahead of virtually all the competition. This will help generate the best possible targeted traffic to your site business and eventually these will become subscribers to your email newsletter. Yes my friend the inter net business development marketing arena is that competitive.

While you run your business always keep in mind that without traffic you do not have a business no matter how good your idea is. So, here we go again. If you have a good marketing system, all you need to do now is find a good product, which is easy to do, with some focused research.

Many will just pass this opportunity by and never see it. I hope you see it.

When selecting the best business development consultant to work with you are loading lots of advantages that only the best business development opportunities will have for you. These advantages may not look very important at first but they will eventually make the difference between earning some spending money from your business opportunity and regularly taking in a good check every month from your business development marketing without ever having to leave the house.

The best of the inter net business opportunities usually have a long and detailed section on affiliate information. Go to these sections and check out their details.

These details should provide you all the information you need to know and how best to sell the inter net business opportunity as an affiliate. It will also be a major boost in knowledge for you to build a web business development presence that works.

Having a large affiliate section is important since you will not make any money off of your business without sales. I know, no kidding. However over ninety-nine percent of all on line businesses do NOT make a profit so please, please try and trust me here okay?

The larger the affiliate section, the easier it will be for you to make an income off your home inter net business. Some of the best opportunities even have a list of key contacts for links and in the forums. If they go this far to help you, maybe check these out closer, because they are sincere, which is good for you because these are the kinds of human beings who will make you successful.

Do not feel bad if you are refused at first. You just need a very good business development company to show you how to build an effective web presence on the net and you are seeing that here on this web page.

It is also a good idea to go with inter net business development opportunities that have a detailed and specific payment policy and preferably one that allows you to be paid for second tier affiliates. Third tier affiliates are not a good idea because the price has to be goosed up too much. Too many levels raises the price to where the commissions are too small and the price is too high and just does not sell.

You are paid for affiliates that you introduce to the business program. This way you can earn an income off both your business development site sales and those of the ones who have joined the affiliate program you are now participating in.

At the risk of being trite, this feature is very powerful. This can make a big difference in the size of the paycheck you receive.

Have you ever found a supplier online offering brand name stocks at unbelievable prices? It's almost too good to be true, well if you haven't figured it out yet then I can assure you.. IT IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!

In this market of ours it's important to be very careful of who we deal with.

The penalty for trading in fake and counterfeit goods is very high and at best you will have all you stock taken and left with a large fine.

There are a few different groups of people you need to be wary of.

Firstly, the so called "suppliers" that offer you a deal that looks like the holy grail of wholesale offers, things like a batch of the latest mobile phones at a fraction of the retail price, or laptops for silly prices. These are mostly outright SCAMS, they will take your money and you will never hear from them gain. Can I tell you now that you will not find new modern mobile phones really cheap, they don't exist, they cost money to make and the only people that can discount them heavily are the phone companies because they are making allot of money from the phone contracts, so as a rule stay away from anyone offering really cheap phones.

It's very hard to get hold of cheap branded electrical stock unless you buy from a liquidator and you buy that's called open box or returned stock.

These liquidators buy stock from major retail and catalog companies that receive items back for various reasons, they buy at a very good price but they have to buy everything they are given and they then sort through it and grade the items, some things may be faulty, some things are slightly marked or scratched and some things are 100% fine and have just had the packaging opened. There are some good deals to be had from such companies but you usually have to buy by the pallet which will include certain amounts of "fillers" and a few nice pieces, the idea is that you will make enough from the good things to make a good profit overall, but it can be a difficult business to make a success out of.

Another group to be careful of is those selling brand name clothes on ebay and on their own sites, here is a fact for you: 90% of all high end designer clothes being sold on ebay are fake. So if you are looking for this type of item then you need to first presume it is fake until you are shown otherwise.

If you are looking at a website and it loads slowly, looks a little unprofessional and it might say they the stock comes from India or China, then stay away. In these countries the government does not stop businesses producing counterfeit goods, in fact unofficially I personally believe they encourage it, as it is very big business and it is helping their country grow financially and giving jobs to many people who need it.

So when you're scouting the net for your wholesale stock please be careful and think twice before snatching up a deal that seems too good to be true.

Most home based business workers know what affiliate programs and web sites are. At first they think or hope that just having a banner posted on their site will generate a stream of income.

This is a fair expectation but it takes some work, deliberate steps, patience and testing to make it happen. Both an affiliate program and a web site can
be combined to make residual income. By testing you can optimize this combination.

To be earning residual income from your web site and affiliate program on it you have to go about it the correct way. To make these two modern tools work together, like peddles on a bicycle, you have to make them go together.

Think of this as being like a good dating partner. We need to make them compatible so they do well together.

There are strong marketing reasons that demand this compatibility. Primarily, visitors to your site are there because they are interested in the products you are selling.

Therefore it is logical that your affiliate program needs to be related to your products. If they are or appear to be unrelated this is a big interest turn off to your site visitors.

If your web visitor sees banners for an affiliate income residual program that is not clearly related to your site they will feel you do not know what you are doing and lose any possible interest in making purchases from you. Worse yet, they may perceive it as unreal or even a scam which kills all sales immediately.

You want to have related article and banner or ad content or your site to make your visitors smoothly click through them. Do you see why it is important to have your advertising and all web site content highly related now?

Ad locations on your web pages is important. You want a smooth flow of ads, including pop ups, that do not compete with your web content. Sloppy organization will anger your visitors and they will leave immediately.

Try this test: have a completely separate page for ads and affiliate programs. Sometimes it works and steady results happen. Visitors will appreciate this courtesy and may visit your ad links page for the courtesy you showed them by not shoving your ads at them.

You can also work them onto your product or article directory pages in different locations. Once again, the trick here is to test and see what works best for your home or other pages.

Highlight them as diplomatically as you can, this is important, making it clear they are affiliate ads and will open in another window when someone clicks them. To do otherwise will confuse and anger visitors.

If there are lots of pop ups they will leave your site and not come back. This is a very serious mistake.

Our purpose here is to relate product, ad and site. Keep smooth flows for reading and be sure they do not interfere with the visitor purpose on your site. You must understand this marketing rule.

The advantage of merging affiliate programs with your business web site or free article directory is that it gives you multiple streams of income. These multiple streams of income are putting your eggs in different baskets to optimize your web pages and get as many sales as possible.

Business and customer moods and impulses fluctuate for many reasons. Good selling items one day are poor selling items on other days.

Giving yourself more than one stream of income gives balance to your sales figures and brings up the slow sales periods.

This will give you more financial stability at all times. It can keep slow sales days or weeks from ruining your profit totals.

Adding residual income home programs to your web site is fairly easy. The hard part of this is testing the different affiliate products to find the ones that work the best for you. You may get tired of the word, testing, at times but it can make you successful if you do it.

In conclusion, testing and placing ads by you, the home based business owner, will make the most income for your business. Multiple streams of income will raise the bottom levels of your sales cycles.

They will boost your morale and image while you learn the benefits of incorporating all of this together. They will make you a better inter net marketer.

China Rising is the name of a documentary released within the last couple of years, indicating that China, in both trade and voice, is becoming a super power on the world stage, a power that will have the attention of the entire world thrust upon them as they host the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.

China, while an economic power, is also a linguistic power with millions of people around the world learning how to speak Mandarin and Cantonese in order to keep up with the fast paced growth being experienced overseas and in International trade.

Mandarin is quickly becoming the language of business and any businessperson who learns how to speak it is at an advantage to be certain.

As the role of the Chinese language, spoken by billions, becomes more prominent cross the ocean and more Chinese citizens immigrate to North America, the need for Chinese language skills and Chinese voice over will increase significantly.

This week, I conversed with two Chinese voice talents based in the Peoples Republic of China, Kuang Haze and Zhenyu Tan, about what makes their language unique and the role that the Chinese language, particularly Mandarin, plays in the voice over marketplace.

When asked what makes the Chinese language different from other languages, both Kuang and Zhenyu were quick to note that the Chinese language, an Oriental language, is unique because of its structure, characters and relatively high learning curve for non-speakers to learn.

Zhenyu added that along with the development of China, Chinese has become more and more popular around the world. He speculated that Chinese could even be the second most popular language other than English. The Chinese population has spread throughout the world that also facilitates the spread and application of the language in other countries.

Zhenyu raises a pertinent point. With more and more Chinese people moving to North America, the need to provide new citizens of Chinese heritage with communications in their own language is very important.

Kuang Haze, offers, "I have lots of clients from North American, because there are so many Chinese people living in North America. Then often hire me for radio PSAs, on-hold systems, IVR, narration, translation and localization services."

Zhenyu Tan, similarly, is finding that North American clients seek his services.

He relates, "More and more Chinese moved to North American so the local companies started to provide customized products and services for Chinese customers. The marketing is growing. Another factor is that lots of headquarters of global companies are located in North America and oftentimes they produce training materials for all the branches in different countries centrally in North America. The clients in North America have good credit on payment. Most of my jobs from North America are e-learning and business presentations."

The currency of choice to invoice in for Zhenyu when working with International clients is mostly USD and acknowledges that some European clients asked for a Euro quotation. Kuang normally quotes and invoices her clients in Euros, US Dollars, and the British Pound Sterling.

Both voice talent agree that their success marketing online coupled with abilities to speak multiple languages has contributed greatly to their bottom lines.

"I enjoyed greater success marketing my voice online to my clients. I can extend my business to all over the world, I have a big market," Kuang replied. "Most of my clients are agents and producer, all of them had been satisfied with my work, most of them would hire me when they have Chinese VO order. And some of them find my website by searching engine, also I can get hired through voice over marketplaces."

Zhenyu, in agreement with Kuang, shared "The most efficient way (of finding work) is through the voiceover marketplace. Agents can also seek me from the marketplace. My own website only demonstrates the services and voice demo currently."

What I find interesting is that after hearing from so many different voice talents, only Zhenyu at this juncture, has confirmed that he has voice over agents working on his behalf in North America, several in fact, resulting in about ten jobs.

A part of this reason may be because Zhenyu speaks a neutral dialect of Mandarin.

He revealed that the Chinese government has placed an emphasis on speaking Mandarin Chinese for almost over 40 years because they believe that having too many different dialects has caused communication obstacles. Furthermore, even after all of that reinforcement, it is seldom that people can speak standard Mandarin Chinese which government certified.

It is for that reason in particular that hiring a native speaker without any dialect imprints is very important. According to Zhenyu, a business presentation with even a light accent will make people look down or cast judgment upon a company.

Kuang's answer was related to Zhenyu's. She added "There is a big difference between a native speaker of Chinese and someone who is a descendant of a native speaker living abroad. The dialect would changed a lot even someone had living abroad for a long time. Most of the descendants of a native speaker living abroad don't regard Chinese as their primary language. All of my clients need native speaker, so they find me. It is very important."

Stephanie Ciccarelli is the Vice President of Marketing with http://www.Voices.com, an online marketplace hosting more than 15,000 professional voice talents from around the world. Stephanie is the author of The Definitive Guide To Voice-Over Success, and The Voice-Over Script Collection.

To sell online, your visitor must be comfortable with you. Many times, the only way to gain your customer's trust, is through the appearance of your website.

You must think of your website as representing you and your business. You wouldn't go to meet a potential client wearing a pair of sandals and ripped jeans. In that same manner, you don't want your website to appear unprofessional and disorganized.

This is a surefire way to lose a potential customer.

There are many different elements to constructing the type of website that will gain your visitors confidence, and rake in sales on a daily basis. Let's take a closer look at some of them.

1. Your Website Must Look Professional

This doesn't mean having flashy graphics, or noisy multimedia. It must be a neat, clean, comfortable look. One that conveys the message that this is not something thrown together by your 13 year old nephew, but designed by a professional who didn't just learn website design last week.

2. Your Website Must Be Convincing

Maybe throwing up an ebook cover with a brief description about what's inside was enough to make sales in 1998. That method no longer works.

Now you must grab your visitors attention and show them the benefits of buying your product or service.

The copy should include:

- Action-grabbing headline: You have mere seconds to catch your prospect's attention and interest him or her enough to keep reading.

- Interest-provoking copy: Your sales pitch for your ebook should grab your prospect by the hand and lead him through each successive step, never losing interest enough to click away from your site - forever.

- Proof by testimonials: The biggest way to build social proof about the quality of you offer is by displaying testimonials from your other readers.

- Take away risk: Explain how safe and secure ordering from you will be, and be sure to include a refund guarantee if the customer is not satisfied.

- Close with a call to action: Be explicit about what the reader should do next to order your ebook. Vague, unclear or confusing instructions will cost you a sale.

3. Your Website Must Be Secure

At least the part of it where payments are processed needs to be secure. The way to have this done for you is by using a secure server. Sensitive data including credit card details are encrypted during transmission, greatly reducing the risk of fraud and unauthorized access.

Make sure to tell your customer somewhere near the payment button that they will be taken to a secure form to place their order.

4. Your Delivery Process Must Be Instant And Automated

If you are selling a digital product, you must deliver the product instantly.

Human beings by nature are impatient and want immediate gratification. With the tools and script available to you today, there is no excuse not to deliver your product immediately. Failure to do so will lead to unhappy customers and eventually refund requests.

5. Collect Email Addresses

Your website must collect contact details from buyers and get their permission to continue to send them more valuable content over time. This way you can follow-up with your customers and make back end sales, over and over.

Each of the components detailed here has proven successful for me and hundreds of other online marketers. By using this systematic approach to building your websites, you will greatly increase your chances of not only generating sales, but profiting from those customers for many years to come.

Getting highly targeted visitors to come to your highly targeted Internet site, is the heart of the financial success of your online marketing promotions.

Your lead traffic is drawn to the same keywords that title and make up your web site content, right?

You are wasting your hard earned money if you do not match your traffic to your web site with careful keyword ads that match and highly relate to the keywords title and article content on your site. There are some online excellent training programs about this very topic.

Career inter net entrepreneurs are constantly paying out many thousands of dollars to participate in on line and off line seminars on this very topic. I have paid for some of them myself.

Always think, content to deliver to your target market.

Just when you think you know everything, something new comes up like content submission that has to be worked on, recognized, learned and understood. The alternative is to fall behind competition very fast.

You can be constructing the greatest home business Internet sites ever, in one way, but if the advertising and marketing and promotion do not bring users to your sites it is of zero value to you.

Once visitors start coming to your site you can get tracking software that will let you know which pages they view, how long they stay and what brings them there.

Amazingly, you can also learn what page they are on and when they leave the sites. This will all give you valuable clues as to how to get them, comfortably, to your purchase page and entice them all the way through the purchasing, confirmation and satisfaction process.

Follow up with all sales to get valuable information from your purchasers. Those who do not follow up, you guessed it, fall behind real fast.

If you follow up and help purchasers get your products up, running and working, guest what? They will give you priceless testimonials about your product you can use on your site and all over the inter net. This will be fabulous article content for your web site.

Handle and satisfy complaints like your business life depends on it because it does. Satisfied complaints mean more nice powerful testimonials.

All this, working to know why, information helps you improve your site, valuable reputation and article content for your home business Internet marketing and promotion knowledge. Do you see how much better this can make your business niche?

Goals for enticing your online leads and marketing and promotion plans, if you are to succeed quicker, should include the following:

To get instant low cost to sales highly targeted traffic to your site so that these users can let you know if your Web sales copy article content works. You have to be very scrupulous and know, in fine detail, if your order forms are optimum.

You desperately want to know if the navigation is easy and if the opt in e-mail offer is making income for you. If the navigation is less that clear all is lost because leads will not know how to order from you. This is a common problem.

Test to see if the online sales process you have set up works well by converting your home Web lead traffic into the greatest number of sales. If sales are going well you must always keep on top of them.

This is because the inter net sales programs and tactics are brutally competitive. Some, maybe all, of the sharpest advertising know it alls are on the inter net now. To sleep or let up is to get run over by your competition.

You want to bring the greatest number of highly focused consumers to your Web site in the least amount of time. I have bought lead programs that legitimately touted over one million leads that did not work. They were very cheap.

The catch, I later learned, was that 100 highly focused leads that bring you five or six desired sales are worth more than a million leads that bring you no sales. Unfocused leads bring no sales, focused leads bring profitable sales.

This may sound obvious but most online marketers never learn this important point. That is why most of them fail.

Putting your Web traffic marketing and promotion campaign on autopilot, as much as possible, successfully grows your Internet home business.

Always check back on and test your marketing campaigns though, lest the competition sneak up on you, and they always will, to take your profits away.

When always testing your site, prior to launching marketing promotions, an incredible percentage of entrepreneurs do not know how to test and what to test.

My philosophy and experience says to test everything. The basics to look at are ordering processes, the sales copy, e-mail offers and all site navigation.

The ordering process, or map, should be designed assuming that consumers who buy from you have never done so online before. Have you ever forgotten about ordering products online because the navigation and process were impossible to understand? I have many times.

While checking out sales copy, on your site, you want to pay close attention to how customer niche content and keyword grabbing the headlines are.

Do you know what you are ordering and why? Your customer will want to know.

Are benefits clearly spelled out? Is the guarantee easy to understand and clear? Is there a strong call to action?

Opt in offers should be prominent and have a fulfilling look to your leads. The pointed purpose of testing is to make sure you are getting the contact information from your valuable consumer.

Are you following the rules above? If so, they can be lured back to your site often, maybe forever.

The optimum goal to look at when testing your site navigation is to make sure that someone who wants to buy your product or service online can do it in two easy clicks.

I know I am harping at this but please understand, if they know how to order they can. If they cannot order, you are out of business quickly.

If your market is under 35 years of age they want instant gratification. Give it to them and you will get your profit.

This is a question I get asked allot by people starting up in internet trading, it's an important part to get right so if you're still deciding which area to specialize in then take your time and make sure you find an area you're happy with and are confident you can make the best of in th ecomming months.

There is no easy answer to this question I'm afraid each person is different but careful research is the key. Don't rush things, take your time on the early decisions and the rest will be so much easier later on.

It's often useful to pick an area or niche you are interested in as you will be spending quite a bit of time working with the products so if you like what you sell it will stop you getting board and you may also already have experience and knowledge on the subject already. There is a high failer rate with new online busineses so its very important to have the focus and concentration there all the time so you can make it through the early stages and on to a prosperous careea.

Some traders like to sell seasonal and fashionable products, and that doesn't just mean clothes, they keep up with changing fashions and trends. Every once in a while a new product comes out and it's a "must have" thing. If you keep your eyes and ears open you can spot these trends and fashions early and you can get in on the action.

It's a much harder to keep a regular flow of stock coming in with seasonal and trend selling but the profits can often be much bigger than the norm.

A product area that's growing very popular onlie in recent times is homemade crafts, there are many people leaning a new skill and turning it into a business, this idea is not to be overlooked as you can often make good profits when you are the manufacturer, supplier and retailer all in one. If your crafts become very popular you can even supply other traders on a wholesale basis.

The key to good product selection is to identify the hot trends and get hold of them at the best terms and from a reliable source.

So how do you get hold of these great products?

Well, sign up to my fr.ee weekly E-Zine and I'll be giving you some ideas on how to do just that.

For those who love finding great deals at auctions but hate the hassles of crowds and getting there, there's now a cool new way to bid. Auction sites are getting more and more which only means that there is a lot more chances in finding that collectible item that you are raring to lay your hands on! You just have to place your bid on your chosen auction site. The next thing you know, you've won it. But before you start bidding, read on and find out some little facts about online auctions.

How transactions work

1. Before transactions are made, you have to sign up for a log-in account at whichever auction site you choose. After that, you can now start looking for items and placing bids. Pictures and item descriptions are very important so make sure to read and look at them carefully. In placing your bid, you can just do it the usual way or you could choose to snipe at timed auctions.

2. When you have won the item, be in touch with the seller. If he replies in a very disturbing manner or if he doesn't respond at all, cancel. In paying for your item, money order is a good choice but it can be hard to locate the seller and recover the money if by chance you are being cheated. Personal checks are obviously not an option. Using internet payment systems for your credit card purchases may lead you into thinking that your money is in good hands. But, no, it is not totally safe at all. Besides, these services ask for an amount of money in return. Shipment is also a big issue. Check the seller's profile. If he is located near your area, then you won't have a problem at all. If not, then be prepared to pay added amount for shipments. The seller could also increase the price for shipment so make sure you check before placing a bid.

3. If by chance the item is broken when it arrives, contact the seller directly. Maintain a professional relationship with the seller.

Some common lingo you could encounter

"in its present condition": as a buyer, the pictures along with the description is your only hope of making a sound judgment about the item.

bid cancellation: as a buyer, you have the right to cancel bids if you are not comfortable about the item or the seller.

Bid increment: the amount being increased in the price of the item after the latest bidder places his bid.

Bid rigging: when a conniving associate of the seller bids on an item to inflate the price.

Caveat emptor: "let the buyer beware"

Escrow: when there is a third person involved who will hold the buyer's money until the buyer gets the item.

Feedback: a user's observation usually about how the other user handles transactions posted for the public.

Sniping: usually happens during the closing of an auction, in which a bidder outbids other bidders to win the item.

Webmasters definitely want to get more traffic and dominate the search engines.

If you want to become one of these masters, you can seek the advice of the experts in Internet Marketing or a Search Engine Optimization Specialist. They can advise you on how to trade links with other websites.

This is also known as the reciprocal links exchange, one of the best ways to bring traffic to your site.

Trading your links is one of the more effective tools in keeping your websites on top of the search engines. This will definitely boost your link popularity with the Google PageRank at the same time.

But you must be careful because trading links can sometimes be risky. You should be careful in choosing the websites you trade links to. If you do not choose the links, you will only waste your time and money. The saddest part is that you will hurt your search engine rankings. This will leave you with a bad mark.

Remember that not all websites are the same. So you should take time beofre deciding on choosing the websites you want to trade your links with.

You need to be aware of how best to choose the greatest links. Here are some things you need to understand about links and joint ventures:

You should keep in mind that the sites you choose links to trade with should have quality content. It should have your target market. This way you will be certain that you will be receiving the highest quality traffic from all the incoming links that directly point the surfers to your website.

Google also gives an elevated search engine ranking that is good for your webpages if you are receiving links, particularly incoming links from the highest quality websites that use content which is closely related to the topic of your site.

The page where your links are placed must have a good Google PageRank score that is enough to keep your traffic high. The general rule is that the incoming links should be pointing at your website. It should come from a page which is within your link partner's web page and which has a PageRank of four or more. Google may change the way they count backlinks so you should also choose the best pages with the highest PageRank.

If it appears that Google is currently counting back links to your websites, even if the page you link to is on a page with a low Page Rank of zero, this will be an advantage for you if they run things with this method. You will never have to worry about linking to those sites with high PageRanks. If they don't use that method, however, Google may not calculate that link which considers your overall and general link popularity and your website may never accomplish the towering search engine position that it should have.

Have you been missing out on your traffic? Do you want to increase it, but you are incapable of doing it? Rank Retriever is the perfect software that can showcase you with a high level of traffic to your websites.

Rank Retriever allows you to dig into the exceedingly pertinent and relevant websites and link pages from Google that are based upon the desired keyword you want. This allows you to spy on your competitors to check their existing Google BackLinks. with the use of this software, you will never have problems tracking the status of your competitors.

Joint ventures is among the most powerful techniques used in marketing. Anyone can use that technique to make more profits and reach more targeted prospects and customers who are interested in your services and offers.

Joint Ventures is also the most misinterpreted part of all the marketing strategies available. An advantage is that it is being offered in so many forms. This fact is most helpful in trying to attain more wins than losses in the joint venture business.

The Affiliate Programs on the Web are the largest and most common form of Joint Ventures, but are not essentially the most profitable form of Joint Venture.

Affiliate programs were primary seen in Network Marketing companies years ago where the focal point was in enlisting customers to develop into the sales force for the products they pay money for. The first companies dedicated themselves in products everyone purchases over and over.

For a business investment as little as $1250, and no experience whatsoever, you can start a home based business venture.

One of the biggest and most far sighted Internet home base business opportunity ventures is a distributorship of Internet kiosks.

One noted billionaire high technology entrepreneur predicted that the public Internet business will replace not only pay phones but also ATMS. This will happen as they offer messaging capability, highway mapping and ticket purchases.

Internet kiosk businesses can be easily started from your home. All you have to do is place your units in public locations.

Examples of sites are: cafes, restaurants, hotels, resorts, bus stations, airport terminals, libraries and multi worker workforce centers.

The locations you want to seek out should be a place you can place a unit where people must wait and where they need information and Web access.

The prime time way you entice the facility owner or manager to let you place one into the location is by sharing the profits with her or him. Extra free income is a powerful service industry to offer.

This opportunity is an Internet home based business opportunity that pays you quickly, virtually the minute someone logs onto your placed kiosk. This enhances your income and business quick.

The money goes straight into the bank account that you designate. Go to a Starbucks coffee shop for your first stop for this.

Imagine having an account with the thousands of Starbucks coffee shops in the world. Are you starting to see the potential? Starbucks would like it because people would hang around and buy more of their goods.

This is an opportunity that has lots of genuine potential to grow in interest for the general public. The primary reason for this is that, on a daily basis, more and more people use and need the Internet.

There are few, if any, businesses that do not require Internet communications. This makes the market huge.

Families and friends who want to stay in touch, while traveling, need the Internet. They do not want to lug around a laptop bag.

They need an aid to know what to do for fun on their travels and how to get the route to their destination.
Children can play Web games and email friends and family while their parents shop.

This Internet home based business opportunity gets lots of assistance from corporate owners. A step by step, map like, white paper tells you how to launch your business.

You will learn the cost of the equipment, marketing your products and their services. Also, how to install them and how to manage your expenses and profits.

The business is six years old and now has units in banks, doctor waiting rooms and colleges. If you have been traveling you have probably seen them on trains, bus stations and at hotels.

When you stopped at a coffee shop, restaurant, hotel or rest area you may have seen and used them. While hotels today usually offer free high speed Internet access few have any sort of hardware available.

Current statistics show that 80 percent of travelers have no laptops with them but can comfortably use the services of one. This is a big market for you.

Even if hotels have a business service you will often have a wait in line process for the one computer available. There is seldom any privacy interfering with your concentration on tasks at hand.

With your own Internet opportunity, and following your training in this home based business opportunity, you can install them. After this you can relax and let money roll in.

You do not even have to cash the checks. What could be easier with a nice, in demand, enterprise like this?

A general search for an Internet home business opportunity from a major search engine yielded 11,800,000 possible results. Indeed an overwhelming number of results to sort through!

The sad fact is that many of these so called Internet home opportunity vendors represent an opportunity for one person and this of course is, you guessed it, themselves.

While you certainly can find a legitimate and promising business opportunity on the Web, just how do you tell the real from the pretend? Below are the most commonly asked questions about the legitimacy of business opportunities, and their answers.

The first question, which should certainly be asked, is where you can get the company pre sale document of disclosure. The U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) requires that a business offering a franchise or business opportunity must provide prospective buyers with this document.

The FTC does not insist that the firms keep these documents available to the public. This makes them less than easy to find. 13 states in the USA do keep the franchise papers on file.

26 states require that anyone having a business opportunity to sell must file a disclosure statement. These files are available to anyone who wishes to look at them if an appointment is made to review them or make copies right there at the office where they are stored. In California franchise documents are available online.

What savvy potential Internet home business opportunity buyers want to know is where they can find out if complaints have been filed about the company, and the dirty details of those complaints. They also, logically, want to know if the complaints have been resolved.

The unfortunate answer, is there is not a good database, either through a state or federal agency, local municipality or private organization. Lovely, huh?

The FTC and the Better Business Bureau keep track of complaints but it is quite easy to change business names and locations once complaints stack up and go start up again some place else. Once in a while you will see stories, just like this, on the evening news.

The best protection is the FTC franchise rule that requires that firms provide potential buyers with the names, addresses and phone numbers of ten other buyers of this Internet home business opportunity. These must be the ten closest to you. This is a good rule.

It is important, for your own investigation into the authenticity and soundness of this internet home business opportunity, that you call these business people and inquire about the firm they bought. What is also important is that you visit each business location, even if at their home.

Doing the above will reveal a lot. Fraudulent business opportunity sellers frequently line up friends and family to handle calls about their bogus business success.

Under the U.S. Freedom of Information Act any person who makes a request is entitled to all information on the potential Internet home business opportunity that the FTC currently has on file.

Another good resource is the Business Franchise Guide, often found in law libraries. This discloses guidelines of each individual state and the U.S. federal government on franchisors and business opportunity vendors. Naturally, every state will be, at least, a little different.
